I’m thrilled that Mike Kerns won. DFA played a big role in getting him elected, really going all the way with our endorsement by canvassing for him last night. Jason will make a fine president, although Justin would have been better to make the Student Union have a great impact beyond our campus.

Kang would have been a much better choice than Jason Gray. I, for one, am disappointed.

Congrats to the victors!

(Although, as an aside, I don’t know that a victory for Kang would have been a ‘defeat’ for progressives — he has done more for SEA/the environment than most here at ‘deis and would have been a great Student Union leader.)
