Law Journal Update — Sold Out! But You Can Still Get One

It’s been out for less than two weeks, but the Brandeis Law Journal has already been cleaned off the shelves.  Fear not, though, because you can still get one by e-mailing subscriptions@brandeislawjournal.com.  All Brandeis students can get a copy for free, but non-students have to pay $4.95.  Get one!  Read your fellow students’ work!  I’ve read some of it, and it’s actually pretty interesting — more discussion to come over the summer.

Judah Marans’s complete (but slightly dated) press release is below the fold.

An update on the Brandeis Law Journal: all 300 copies of the inaugural issue are already out of stock! But, if you’ve wanted one, you’re still in luck. Since there was such unexpectedly high demand, the journal has done a second printing.

Copies are being distributed at Usdan today (Monday) in the evening and at Sherman during lunch on Tuesday.

The issue is 141 pages, printed as a 6”x 9” perfect bound paperback, with a retail value of $4.95 (ISBN 978-0-615-36581-7; ISSN 2154-4468). It will continue to be available free of charge for Brandeis students. You can reserve a copy in advance at subscriptions@brandeislawjournal.com.

A little info on it: It’s one of the few undergraduate law publications in the country. The current issue includes an introduction by University President Jehuda Reinharz; a foreword from renowned Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz; and contributions from Legal Studies Program director Professor Richard Gaskins, two of our Pulitzer-prize winning faculty members, and the students, other faculty, and staff at Brandeis.
